AMAZING GRACE

Rescued from a sheep farm in the rural Northern Cape after the farmer threatened to shoot her as she had evidentially lost interest in tending to the flock of sheep (due to her inability to walk properly as her hooves had formed ‘slippers’) Once rescued by a very special lady, Amazing Grace’s days were spent in the confines of a small, parched lot  where her diet consisted of potatoes skin off-cuts from a local restaurant. It was here that she met her best friend and soul mate, Cheyenne, a 25 year-old Welsh pony, rescued after being abandoned with no food or water on a farm in the outskirts of Johannesburg.
